For our first Monthly Meeting after the CSW67, NGO CSW/NY hosted a debrief of the CSW67 outcomes. We looked at different aspects of the CSW67 with speakers from Member State, civil society, and UN spaces. The three main aspects we covered were the CSW67 Agreed Conclusions negotiations, youth engagement at the CSW67, and the Generation Equality campaign (GEF).
Before the program began, Exhale to Inhale hosted a 15-minute trauma-informed yoga practice. This practice is perfect for people of all ages and experiences!
Join us for an in-person screening of the documentary, Velvet Revolution for our local members and friends! In this exciting collaborative film six women directors take their lens up close to women making news in a world riven with conflict and dictatorial regimes. When journalists are constantly under threat, what drives these women to do their jobs?
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with speakers including the director of the film.
Date: Tuesday, 16 May Time: 1 – 3pm EDT Location: 777 United Nations Plaza, NY
This is our first in-person event in many years and we are so excited to see our local friends!
This screening will take place in-person at CCUN on the 2nd floor. There will be no virtual component or livestream.
