On 18 February at 8:30am EST, join UN Women and NGO CSW/NY YLYPs for a youth-focused workshop on climate change to prepare for CSW66 and NGOCSW66!
The workshop will clearly articulate an understanding of the synergies between intersectionality and climate change and its contemporary challenges for young people. In particular, the workshop processes will assist young people to explore the linkages between climate, gender, and race. It will include discussions on current calls to action, processes of change, and catalyzing young leaders for climate change. It will also provide a platform for young people to share their lived experiences with one another, build solidarity, and to exchange ideas, reflections, and learnings.
This virtual workshop will be an opportunity to convene interested youth and adolescents to discuss climate action through an intersectional lens. The event will draw together a broad audience from across the globe to develop a deeper and more synergistic view on climate action.
