The 6th Women Deliver Conference will be held in Kigali, Rwanda in July 2023 and will be more inclusive, diverse, accessible, and consultative than ever before. Young people, both within and beyond Women Deliver’s programs, are playing key leadership roles in planning WD2023 because young people are leading the way in shaping a gender-equal future. WD2023 is a platform for young people, and those working on youth issues, to advance their advocacy goals, including meaningful youth engagement and co-leadership. To realize this goal, young people are at the center of WD2023’s co-creation and planning process.
Women Deliver seeks to create a WD2023 Youth Planning Committee to center young people in the planning of the Conference, and specifically with co-creating and co-designing youth programming for the Conference, such as the Youth Pre-Conference and the Youth Zone. The Youth Planning Committee will provide strategic input in the development and implementation of the Conference through co-leading the creation of youth events and programming.
Please review the Terms of Reference to learn more about the requirements and terms of the WD2023 Youth Planning Committee.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, July 24.
