Rally For Peace

Join us at the Rally For Peace in-person to promote the global Women, Peace & Security Agenda and UN Security Council Resolution 1325!
We invite our New York City Community to join us on 24 October 2024 at the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza for our second annual Peace Rally promoting the WPS Agenda and UNSCR, as well as platforming the voices of civil society organizations that are mobilizing to cultivate the culture of peace! At the rally, join us in:
- Celebrating the contribution of women to peace and security, emphasizing their participation in decision-making processes.
- Advocating for gender equality as a fundamental principle for building peaceful and prosperous societies
- Calling for the full financing and implementation of SCR 1325 and subsequent WPS resolutions.
- Encouraging the involvement of youth, civil society, and marginalized communities in peace-building efforts.
We will meet in the lobby of the Church Center for the United Nations (777 United Nations Plaza) and march to Dag Hammarskjold Plaza to continue the program!
